- Evolution Shard redemptions — each Evolution unlock = +5 Collection Levels (often crosses a reward tier on its own).
- Hero Token redemptions — same +5 Collection Levels per Hero.
- In-progress Mastery claims — claim post-patch to receive the new gold reward (~4,000-15,000 gold per task) instead of the old gem+wildcard mix that migrates to Collection Levels anyway.

- Should I upgrade cards before the May 26 2026 update?
- Hold if you're within 3 upgrades of a Collection Level reward tier (Levels 20, 30, 40 ... every 10 to 1500, then every 5). Holding lets you claim the reward as a post-patch upgrade. Upgrade now only if the card is mission-critical to your current ladder push and you're far from the next tier line.
- What is the Collection Level formula?
- Collection Level = sum of every card level you own + 5 per Evolution form unlocked + 5 per Hero form unlocked. Every card upgrade grants +1 Collection Level regardless of rarity. Use the Collection Level Calculator if you don't know your current value.
- Why does this tool auto-hide after June 9?
- The Pre-Patch Advisor is intentionally time-bound. The decision logic only matters during the May 23 - June 9 window around the Q2 patch. After June 9, all upgrades are normal post-patch upgrades and the advisor returns no useful signal.
- Does this work for Evolutions and Hero unlocks too?
- Yes — and even more so. Every Evolution or Hero unlock is worth +5 Collection Levels. Holding stockpiled Evolution Shards or Hero Tokens for post-patch redemption can cross multiple reward tiers at once, especially if you're near a band edge.
