- How does Deck Finder rank decks?
- Each deck gets a composite score = meta strength × your collection completion × Royale IQ fit. Meta strength comes from the live tracked-decks pipeline (rank, pick rate, win rate). Collection completion is the fraction of the 8 cards you own. Royale IQ fit is your personal play-style match (defaults to neutral until you connect a tag).
- What does "playable today" mean?
- A deck is marked playable when you own at least 7 of the 8 cards. You can almost always sub one missing card with a similar role and still capture the deck's strategy. Decks with fewer than 7 owned cards are shown but flagged as "stretch" recommendations.
- Why isn't my Champion or Tower Troop in the recommendations?
- Deck Finder only shows decks from the live tracked-decks meta pipeline. If your specific Champion isn't in any top deck for your trophy range, the rankings reflect what wins in real ladder battles right now. Use the archetype + win-condition filters to find decks that work with what you've unlocked.
- How is this different from MetaDecks or RoyaleAPI tier lists?
- MetaDecks and RoyaleAPI rank decks by raw meta performance — they don't know what you own. Deck Finder ranks by (meta × yours), so a slightly weaker deck you can play today often beats a stronger deck you'd need to upgrade 4 cards to use. The tier list shows what wins; Deck Finder shows what wins for you.
- Do I need a paid account?
- No. Deck Finder is free with a linked player tag. Pro adds the My Deck Lab workspace (saved decks, war-day planner, upgrade-path planner) and the Royale IQ + Tilt Meter that calibrates the fit score.
