How to play this phase

In double elixir, your Hog cycles back every ~29 seconds. This is when you apply constant pressure — the opponent can defend the first Hog, but the second one will catch them low on elixir. Chain Hog + Ice Golem to soak Cannon shots and force a tower connection.

How is the Hog Rider cycle time calculated?
Hog Rider cycle time equals (full deck cost) ÷ (elixir per second). For the canonical 2.6 deck the full cycle cost is 21 elixir. In double elixir (0.714 elixir/sec) that means 29.4 seconds between Hog Riders. In triple elixir/overtime (1.071 elixir/sec) it drops to 19.6 seconds.
