How to play this phase
In double elixir, your Hog cycles back every ~29 seconds. This is when you apply constant pressure — the opponent can defend the first Hog, but the second one will catch them low on elixir. Chain Hog + Ice Golem to soak Cannon shots and force a tower connection.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What does the Hog 2.6 Cycle Lab do?
- The Cycle Lab is an interactive visualiser for the Hog 2.6 deck. It shows when each card returns to your hand on a 60-second timeline, computes your average elixir, full cycle cost, Hog Rider return time, and Hogs-per-minute across single, double, and triple elixir generation rates.
- How is the Hog Rider cycle time calculated?
- Hog Rider cycle time equals (full deck cost) ÷ (elixir per second). For the canonical 2.6 deck the full cycle cost is 21 elixir. In double elixir (0.714 elixir/sec) that means 29.4 seconds between Hog Riders. In triple elixir/overtime (1.071 elixir/sec) it drops to 19.6 seconds.
- Can I test Earthquake and Goblin Drill variants?
- Yes. Use the card-swap dropdowns to replace Cannon with Earthquake, Goblin Drill, Cannon Cart, Tornado, Princess, Tesla, Inferno Tower, Bats, or Fire Spirit. The Lab recomputes average elixir and cycle time live, so you can see exactly how each swap changes your rotation speed.
- Why does my cycle time matter in Clash Royale?
- Cycle time is the entire point of cycle decks. Hog 2.6 cycles back to Hog Rider every 29 seconds in double elixir, while opponents on 3.5+ average elixir take 40-50 seconds. That gap lets you land 2 Hog Riders for every 1 push your opponent builds.
- Is the Cycle Lab free to use?
- Yes. The Hog 2.6 Cycle Lab is completely free, no login required, and runs entirely in your browser. Card swaps, elixir-rate toggles, and timeline animations work instantly with no server round-trip.
